With some 15 years’ experience in building design, reuse and rehabilitation, for government and private clients in London and Sydney, Thomas established Studio Trudeau in 2019. Most recently, this included a significant period working with the historic building team at BDP on major projects in Whitehall and Belgravia, London.
Thomas has taught at the University of Technology, Sydney as a tutor in environmental design and architectural history, and continues research across construction technology and information management, mass timber and adaptive reuse.
With degrees in architecture, planning and development (University of Technology, Sydney), building conservation (KU Leuven, Belgium), and art history (University of Sydney), Thomas also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Architectural Practice and Management in Architecture (The Bartlett, ARB Part 3).
Prior to his career in architecture, Thomas worked in public and private art galleries in Australia and Italy. He speaks English, French and Spanish.
Ferran Iglesias Escuder is an architect and graduate of the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB).
Ferran has substantial experience in public and private housing projects as well as public buildings, gained across several practices in Barcelona, including ONL Arquitectes.
An exceptionally talented designer, he has won awards in international design competitions, and developed independent residential projects.
Fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English, Ferran provides invaluable design input and ably handles technical matters.
